Due to growing competition, retailers need to to attract and retain customers. In today's market, consumers have many options to choose from and businesses need to find ways to stand out and provide additional value to their customers.
Loyalty points were introduced as one way to address this, but gradually turned into a mere gimmicky marketing technique in the minds fo customers. The concept itself is not flawed, but needs more flexibility in terms of collecting and redeeming the points.
Currently, the customers have to download and maintain multiple apps for every store they shop from, which is cumbersome and difficult to keep track of. Some stores do not even have a mobile app, which takes the friction for customer to another level.
And all this effort is rarely rewarded enough. The customers are mostly unaware of the ongoing deals or they are stuck with points of a store that does not offer good perks/deals. The points thus often sit unused.
So here comes our solution :-
Pointx eliminates this friction by introducing a single app for collecting and redeeming loyalty points.
It provides a convenient and flexible way for customers to earn and redeem points across multiple stores. This allows customers to accumulate points faster and redeem them for more valuable rewards. Additionally, the app can help increase customer loyalty and engagement by providing a sense of exclusivity and rewards for continued patronage
Furthermore, PointX is beneficial for businesses as well. It allows them to track customer spending habits, understand customer preferences and improve their marketing strategy. Moreover, by participating in a multi-store reward points program, retailers and businesses can attract new customers and increase sales.
Ideation was a slow start. I was also unsure about what features to implement in the final prototypes due to time constraints. Building the Complex UI I maked in the figma designs below was also a hassle. Learning Velo by Wix from scratch for the business portal was difficult initially but I Was able to make a good prototype thanks to their docs!
What it Does?

3)It can increase brand awareness. Customers will be exposed to a wider range of stores and brands, which can help to increase brand awareness.
4)It can provide a platform for stores to collaborate, offer joint promotions and special deals to customers, which can help to drive more traffic to all participating stores.
In summary, Pointx allows users to exchange loyalty points across different stores is a win-win solution for both customers and businesses, as it provides additional value and convenience for customers while helping businesses to attract and retain customers.
