The problem PLUTUS solves

  1. The Problem: DeFi Fragmentation & Complexity
    The Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem is powerful but disjointed. Users currently face three major hurdles:
    • Information overload: To find the best yield, a user has to keep 10+ tabs open (Aave, Uniswap, Curve, etc.) and manually compare rates.
    • Stale data: Many dashboards update slowly, meaning the APY you see might not be the APY you get.
    • Complexity: Understanding "impermanent loss" or "health factors" requires technical knowledge allowing for costly mistakes.
  2. What People Can Use Plutus For
    Plutus acts as a unified operating system for DeFi activities:
    Yield Hunting (The Market Page)
    • Use case: A user has 10,000 USDC and wants the best return. instead of checking every protocol individually, they visit the Market page.
    • Action: They filter by "Stablecoins" and "Low Risk" to instantly see that Aave V3 on Arbitrum offers the best risk-adjusted rate.
    Intelligent Portfolio Tracking
    • Use case: A user wants to know their net worth and asset breakdown across chains.
    • Action: They connect their wallet via RainbowKit to see a live visualization of their holdings, analyzing their exposure to different assets.
    AI-Powered Financial Analysis (Agent X402)
    • Use case: A user is unsure if a specific pool is safe or how it works.
    • Action: They ask Agent X402: "Explain the risks of the ETH-USDC pool on Uniswap," and receive a data-backed explanation rather than generic advice.
    Developer Integration
    • Use case: A developer wants to build a trading bot but doesn't want to index the blockchain themselves.
    • Action: They use the Developer API (/api/yields) to fetch aggregated, clean yield data to power their own application.
