Lack of Intermediaries and Fees, as centralized crowdfunding platforms often charge significant fees for hosting campaigns and processing transactions. A decentralized app could eliminate the need for intermediaries, reducing fees and allowing more of the funds raised to go directly to the intended cause or project.
Moreover, traditional platforms might restrict participation based on geographical location or currency limitations. A decentralized app could enable global participation, allowing people from different parts of the world to contribute to campaigns without facing barriers.
Finally, decentralized crowdfunding apps could utilize blockchain technology to provide transparent and tamper-proof records of transactions and campaign details. This enhances trust among contributors, as they can easily verify where their contributions are going and how funds are being used.
It was our first time working on a Web3 project. We ran into multiple problems like installing dependencies, environments like hardhat, writing the smart contract, importing dependencies, running the solidity code, deploying it into blockchain and lot more
