In recent years Telegram has gradually become a hot bed for crypto currency enthusiasts, with the successes of NOTCOIN, TON coin, and BLUM and other blockchain projects, telegram has gradually emerged as the hotspot for onboarding new users and bring them onchain. This growth has created the need for the intergration of other independent features that makes the onchain experience of these new and veteran users seemless. with over 900 million monthly active users on telegram, and with the burgeoning growth of crypto enthusiasts on telegram, building a smart wallet on telegram will make bringing new users onchain seemless, since they can interact with their portfolio even while they chat, they can pay, send, recieve and store their assets safely and securely on a platform that they already turn to for crypto currency advice, growth, airdrop farming and other services that they use telegram for.
Challenges we ran into
The very nature of the coinbase smart is such that it works on a browser like Chrome, and it makes use of a keys feature to verify users and create their accounts. Since Telegram mini apps and bots are independent programs with their own rules of operation, we had to create a bridge that will communicate with coinbase keys and then pass this information to our telegram app. This was challenging to accomplish, but we figured it out.
