The problem Plethora of Hackathon Winning Projects solves
Part 1 - Many students who are willing to participate in hackathons despite having the tech stack skills and knowledge of theme/ domain, are unable to bring up innovative project idea topics to solve some problems.
Part 2 - Any student who wants to explore a particular CS domain/ techstack would love to see what latest problems solved/ projects build in this domain by students around the country.
Challenges we ran into
We, fortunately, didn't run into many issues but we had to get acquainted with bootstrap CSS in less time so we could get responsive UI for our websites.
We also had to scrape data from multiple websites, information which we had to verify with GitHub data which took a lot of time and effort
We also ran into multiple issues when our endpoints from backend API didn't get synced with frontend points so we had to rebuild our build and redeploy it
As we used python the backend had to be highly accurate thus sometimes there were no outputs syncing with or frontend, therefore, we had to reverify our backend API build.
