PlayTopia
The One Stop Solution for All Gamers
The problem PlayTopia solves
Problems faced by gamers and viewers:
- Gamers may experience technical issues, higher resource requirements, fragmentation of the audience in using multiple
platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, etc. - These platforms do not provide two way communication between gamers and viewers.
- Several streamers extort money from viewers by asking them to donate or subscribe to their channels
- Viewers are asked to follow streamers on various platforms. This creates confusion and wastes the viewer's time.
- Platforms like YouTube have strict copyright policies which may result in a user’s livestreams being flagged or taken.
Solution offered by a single multi stream two-way livestreaming platform:
- Saves creator’s and user’s money by eliminating the need to pay for multiple live streaming platforms or services.
- Allows users to communicate with multiple people or groups simultaneously, rather than communicating with each person
or group separately. - By having all communication channels in one platform, users can avoid distractions and stay focused on their tasks, leading
to better productivity. - Helps facilitate better collaboration between team members or groups, as everyone can communicate with each other in
real-time. - Even if a user’s friends are unavailable, users can play games and interact with in-built bots.
Challenges we ran into
- We faced difficulties in integerating the chatbot and games with the dashboard as all of them were running on different
ports. We used StackOverflow to overcome this issue. - We faced issues in syncing audio and video during livestream using WebRTC.
- We faced difficulty in linking Dialogflow API with the chatbot.
