The dual challenge of preventing food wastage by restaurants on a daily basis and feeding the hungry is being tackled by providing Platelinker as a bridge between restaurants and NGOs wherein the restaurants can donate surplus amount of leftover food to NGOs for distribution among the underfed section of the society. The platform also provides functionalities for individuals, who wish to do charity work by donating edibles but don't have enough time on their hands, to place orders for food donations through the listed restaurants acting as middlemen between the donors and the NGOs.
