The problem PLAG-CHECK AI solves

This tool is designed to detect and prevent instances of plagiarism in written content. This is basically to check the originality of texts. This is a powerful tool that not only helps in academic integrity but also adresses the growing of AI generated texts. By using advanced technologies and algorithms this system is capable of detecting the AI generated content.
This feature is very crucial where AI technology has become increasingly prevalent whether its used by students, teachers, content creators etc. This system provides a robust defence against plagiarism including AI generated texts.
THEREBY, upholding the principle of intectual honesty and integrity, this system serves as a valuable resource in various domains where accurate and relevant content evolution is essential.
The main advantageous parameter of this tool is TIME SAVING, where this saves considerable time for educators, creators who need to review large amount of written work.

This tool can be broadly used by
STUDENTS- to check the originality of their articles, assignments, essays before submitting.
EDUCATORS- to check the authenticity of student submissions, enables the educators to evaluate the quality of work.
CONTENT CREATORS-bloggers, journalists can make use of this to avaoid unintential duplication of their content, which also
safeguards them from copyrights.

Challenges we ran into

During the development and implementation of PLAG-CHECK AI, we encountered several challenges that required careful consideration and innovative solutions. These challenges shaped our journey and drove us to create a robust and effective plagiarism detection system. Here are the key challenges we faced:

  1. Complex Data Processing: Processing large volumes of text data efficiently was a significant challenge. We needed to develop algorithms and techniques capable of handling vast databases, analyzing text comprehensively, and providing accurate results within reasonable timeframes.

  2. Language and Contextual Understanding: Understanding the nuances of language and context posed a considerable hurdle. Different writing styles, idiomatic expressions, and cultural variations made it challenging to accurately detect plagiarism. We had to develop sophisticated language models and utilize advanced NLP techniques to capture the subtleties of human communication.

  3. Handling Diverse Content Formats: Plagiarism exists across various content formats, including text documents, academic papers, articles, and web content.
