The solution solves for 2 needs of users
- Reminders at the right time: A doctor or a patient can set up a prescription and medication plans with a reminder frequency. It allows you to link your medication plan to your health id and acts as an online repository available over the NHS (WIP).
- Tracking for continued care: A doctor or a relative of a patient can subscribe to a patient's medication plan and compliance using the patient's consent. (WIP)
Highlights
- User can group several prescriptions under a purpose/context and set visibility at purpose and at prescription level
- Tracking party can set on reminders for themselves if the patient is not in a condition to respond to reminders
Several apps exist to track one's own medication but tracking by doctor's and/or relatives still remains a case to be made.
A full solution would involve creating each of these
- HIP: As it stores medication data
- HIU: As users can see dependent's medication plan
- Consent manager: To manage medication consent granuraly
We realised this with some effort. And chose to work on the HIP part of the solution.
