Most onchain apps are complex, abstract, and hard to explain to newcomers — tracking balances, managing wallets, interacting with DeFi protocols can feel overwhelming.

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest challenges while building Piggy World was connecting game-like mechanics with real onchain identity.

At first, Piggy IDs (NFT passports of our community) were just collectibles — but we wanted them to become the login key to the world.

Another hurdle was making this smooth inside Farcaster: QuickAuth sometimes returned broken usernames (guest_xxx), so we had to build recovery logic to always show the right user identity.

On the infra side, deploying the manifest (farcaster.json) was unexpectedly tricky — strict validation around domains and allowedAddresses caught us multiple times.

These struggles shaped Piggy World into more than a playful map: it became a trust layer for the Piggyverse, where identity (Piggy ID) and experience (the World) are tied together in a safe, verifiable way.
