Remanent is a data infrastructure for blockchain-agnostic identity and risk assessment that can be used by crypto exchanges and marketplaces to identify bad users on their application.

Applications are not able to identify bad actors from good actors due to anonymity in Web3
Validating and verifying transactions linked to a wallet address against multiple chains and databases takes a lot of engineering bandwidth
Analyzing all the data to pull out insights is cumbersome and time consuming

Getting hold of the information and tags and matching them against wallet addresses, we obtain labels currently from EtherScan and GoPlus. Chainalysis and TRM Labs both provide open APIs for sanctions, we connect to both and work on a either-or basis. We also consume QuickNode & Alchemy RPCs for transaction and block related information.
