The problem PhishGuard solves
Our app pioneers a state-of-the-art link validation system. When a user
clicks on a link within the app, it activates an API armed with extensive
datasets and an AI-trained model. This dynamic process swiftly verifies
the link's legitimacy. If identified as a potential phishing site, a warning
is instantly displayed, alerting users to exercise caution. Conversely, if
the link is recognized as safe, it seamlessly opens within the app, which
acts as a secure browser. This innovative approach ensures an
uninterrupted and protected user experience. The app's real-time link
validation serves as a critical safeguard, fortifying user security
against the ever-present threat of phishing.
Challenges we ran into
Found out difficulty in finding datasets and making the AI model more accurate . We Overcomed by finding suitable dataset and trained the model .
