Solving supply chain issues using private blockchain

The problem Pharma Chain solves

The old the supply chain management system is centralised.
There it is easy to tamper the product during transit and go away with it unreported.
Even if it gets reported it will be stored in private database and again if that database is controlled by some people who can delete the reports for money then sure it will hard to prevent that and even know about any history of that transist before.
Also the previous blockchain based implementation is very complicated and often requires manufacturers to adopt the new marketplace which won't be ideal experience for the stakeholders. There needs to be an API which can be easily integrated in existing systems and stakeholders will see no change in experience. And having the existing smooth flow as it is. Further the public blockchain charge you due its security and integrity provided by many miners in network. But here we can have private blockchain where the access will be given to all stakeholders and it will help to save the gas fees and making experience same again.

Challenges we ran into

  • We we're creating marketplace but after talking with mentor we realised the manufactures will have good experience migrating to our site and for its users.
  • We we're using same branch to save time which might be advantage too but our team frequently got into conflicts and merge commits, might be easier if we just used PRs to code.
