We make sure stray animals don’t go unnoticed or unaided. With Petpets, anyone can quickly create a verified fundraising campaign for a stray animal they find. Donations go directly to the cause through smart contracts, ensuring transparency and trust.

We partner with veterinarians and animal shelters around the world—so once a campaign is created, the animal can receive proper care through the community's support and collected fund.

Challenges I ran into

1. Wallet Account Creation

One of our biggest challenges is designing a seamless user experience for non-crypto-native users. We believe there's a large market of animal lovers already trying to help through Instagram posts, stories, and Twitter threads—Petpets aims to be the next-level solution for that same demand.

To solve this, we’re implementing account abstraction based on Ethereum standards, allowing users to create a wallet simply by connecting their social media accounts. This bridges the gap between Web2 familiarity and Web3 functionality.

2. Payment Solution

Another challenge is enabling payments in local currency, so users can easily fund campaigns without needing to understand or own crypto first. We’re actively working on integrating a payment gateway that converts fiat into crypto directly within the platform.

These steps are part of our next phase, focused on reducing friction and making the user journey as intuitive and accessible as possible.
