Depeg event detector
The problem Pegasus solves
Alerts user when an unexpected event occurs
User Interaction and Data Flow
User adds the detector via Hacken Extractor (https://app.extractor.live/), and set the range threshold and which liquidity pools to monitor. User can get alerted via email, Telegram, Slack, and webhook which is set within Hacken Extractor's notification channels.
The project architecture and development process
Block data from an Ethereum RPC node is ingested in Hacken Extractor where if conditions matches our custom detector on depeg events, alert is triggered to notify user via email, Telegram, Slack or webhook.
Product Integrations
Sentinel SDK, Hacken Extractor
Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project
Key feature in Hacken Extractor is having a curated list of detectors for users to choose from with a metric dashboard. Similar projects include Arkham Alerts, Nansen Smart Alert, QuickNode QuickAlert.
Trade-offs and shortcuts while building
Future optimization could use tabulation to reduce stored data. Future expansion could have a moving average to generalize anomaly detection to remove the limit to only detecting stablecoin anomaly.
