While developing the Peer.ai Chrome extension, we encountered numerous challenges. Initially, the technology required to bring our idea to life was unfamiliar to us. However, we dedicated ourselves to learning it during the early stages. One particularly daunting hurdle was the voice input process, which proved to be quite demanding. This phase presented us with the majority of our difficulties. The communication between the popup.js, background.js, and content.js files posed a significant challenge, but we eventually found a way to overcome it in the middle of the project. Additionally, implementing ReactJS in a Chrome extension proved to be another major obstacle. We had to handle the bundling aspect with utmost care, but after a brainstorming session with my teammate, we successfully managed to accomplish it.
