We are trying to completely decentralize the Indian PDS (Public Distribution System) to reduce corruption and poverty thus increase the transparency.
The problem PDS-Chain solves
Even though there are lots of schemes introduced by the govt. to reduce poverty, corruption degrades it day by day. The Indian PDS is one of the most corrupted system in India. And we are trying to completely decentralize this system so that it disolves corruption and brings transparency.
Challenges we ran into
The Sh*t's we faced:
Windows was having issues most of the framework and had to flash Debian.
Lost most of the time in installation part.
And the net was too unstable. We use our personal internet(USB thethered) for the whole event.
Finally, got everything working. But we were going to build a supplychain kinda thing. And also got a suggestion to use Quorum, after installing taking a lot of time in the slow internet, it required VirtualBox. And moment after installing that i got to know that Virtualization was disable in my BIOS. Then went for enabling it and in the end it didn't work out.
And finally patched everything up using truffle box.
