Why are you participating for Based Africa?

We are participating in Based Africa to showcase our project and how it enables movement of Fiat and Stablecoins, connecting it to payment channels to enable use cases like cross-border settlements.

What challenges are you focusing on?

-Fragmentation of payment channels.
-Ease of onboarding new users to the blockchain/mass adoption

How does your submission address this challenge?

Use of smartwallet for ease of onboarding, and allowing users to make payments in local fiat and the settlements to be done in stablecoins hence hedging against local fiat volatitlity.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating BaseNames and smart wallet was a challenge. Also handling all the transactions of a deposit and settlement seamlessly proved to be a hard nut to crack.
With the use of Onchainkit I was able to integrate Smart wallet with ease and using of asynchronous calls i handled payment and status checking on the transaction seamlessly.

Additional Features

We added the use of smart Wallet and BaseNames. Also transaction were in testnet for payflip v1 and now transactions are on mainnet. Mainnet Transaction hash- 0x8513ef77b76901fc5176e9cdff68fdc0ef8d91487f3efcf0105ad78449382349
