A chat assisted pregnancy management application, supporting women by providing nutritional information and comprehensive tracking of pregnancy

The problem Parvaah solves

Pregnant women in rural areas face significant challenges accessing healthcare services and communicating effectively, which increases the risks associated with pregnancy. This highlights the urgent need for a comprehensive solution that provides accessible support in multiple languages and includes robust pregnancy tracking features. Additionally, the shortage of resources in tier 1 and 2 cities emphasizes the importance of implementing such solutions to ensure that all pregnant women, regardless of their location or access to resources, receive the necessary care and support for a healthy pregnancy

Challenges we ran into

While developing the pregnancy management application, I encountered several challenges that hindered progress. One significant issue was the inability to implement multilingual support, which posed a barrier to accessibility for users from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Additionally, the Text-to-Speech model presented limitations that needed to be addressed to ensure optimal usability, especially for users with literacy limitations or those relying on auditory input. These obstacles underscored the importance of finding solutions to enhance inclusivity and usability within the application.
