Pollution is a major problem in today’s world and with increasing prizes of petrol and diesel it’s almost impossible for lower middle class families to use their vehicles to go out, ParkTheCar helps users to find the nearest empty parking slot so that they don't have to go round and round to find an empty parking slot and even they will be able to save petrol with it's help. The another use case that I am trying to implement is buying the tickets beforehand reaching the spot, this will help the users to get a parking slot in difficult situations for e.g. when there is a cricket match going around and you want to get a parking spot asap so that you don't miss anything. There is one more unique feature of ParkTheCar i.e. it helps users to rent their parking lot the same way we rent our house as an AirBnB, this way those who don't have a vehicle but have a spot for it can utilize it and earn some money.
My initial plan was to make a machine learning model and than convert it into tensorflowjs and use it in the webapp but since it was my first time using machine learning I was facing problems in integrating it in the webapp because of which I didn't used my trained model and used a simple openCv model which counts pixels but gives the exact same result, I wasn't able to integrate it with the web app but I am looking forward to complete it after the hackathon ends.
