Challenges I ran into
Integrating crypto with Brazil’s PIX banking system was our toughest hurdle.
We built a custom API bridge connecting Base, Solana, and PIX, enabling real-time routing, low fees, and instant confirmations, making crypto payments feel just like traditional transfers.

What is your product’s unique value proposition?
O PagCrypto é o melhor gateway de pagamento de criptomoedas para moedas fiduciárias desenvolvido na Base para mercados emergentes. Ele permite que os usuários paguem contas, enviem remessas e façam compras usando criptomoedas por meio de redes locais como o PIX, totalmente on-chain, sem custódia e com liquidação instantânea em reais. Nosso alfa comprova esse fluxo de ponta a ponta, conectando a Web3 e os pagamentos do mundo real sem intermediários ou atritos.
Who is your target customer?
Our target users are crypto-native individuals and small businesses in Brazil who want to pay or receive money using crypto through local methods like PIX. Early tests with freelancers, merchants, and Web3 users confirmed strong demand for seamless, low-cost crypto-to-fiat payments.
Who are your closest competitors and how are you different?
Our main competitors are Smartpay, Bitfy, and Lemon Cash. Unlike these custodial apps, PagCrypto is non-custodial and built on Base, enabling any user or merchant to make crypto-to-fiat payments via PIX directly on-chain. We’re infrastructure-first. faster, cheaper, and fully transparent.
What is your distribution strategy and why?
Our go-to-market combines community-driven adoption and strategic B2B partnerships. We’re starting in Brazil, leveraging strong crypto and PIX usage to onboard early users through influencers and merchants, while integrating with neobanks and wallets that adopt our Base-powered payment API for seamless crypto-to-fiat transfers.
