The problem OverWatch solves
With Overwatch we have a vision of increasing social security by uniting people together and sharing their personal experiences. On Overwatch, people can mark danger zones on a map which are then displayed to other users guiding them to avoid these danger zones and visit those areas precautiously. People can also write stories sharing what dangerous experience they've had and when and where it happened so that others can read about them and get aware about the type of crime occuring in that area. If the law enforcement authorities happened to read about these incidents they can increase security in those areas thus making them a bit safer and that what OverWatch is for.
Challenges we ran into
We used opensource maps to make this and inorder to store the locations with their names we had to use two APIs simultaneously which was sort of difficult. We found free services that take coordinates and returns their address and implemented it with the help of await feature of Javascript.
