The problem o-two solves

In a technical institution with over 5000 students, uncontrolled Carbon emission is sure to disturb the ecology of the surrounding.

The solution focuses on reducing the net carbon emission to zero on the campus using incentives and technology.

With the increasing amount of plastic production and usage, we have run into a very severe problem of waste management and carbon emission. Our solution aims at solving these issues by using ethereium-based cryptocurrency and providing incentives to the users.

Challenges we ran into

1. Creating an API for tracking walking distance so as to calculate carbon emission saved. There is no such API that calculates the distance traveled by bike. We could only use google fit API to track walking distance
2. Creating the etherium-based cryptocurrency(green coin) over a private network that would allow us to reward users based on their green score and if they had sufficient green coin, they could redeem them for various goodies. However, we accomplished this task.
3. Integration of frontend and backend due to usage of various new APIs and Ethereum using metamask.
