A month-long open-source fiesta

The problem Opencode'22 - ananyaa07 solves

There were multiple projects where I had contributed:

  1. Designs for an app called DonateASmile is used to link charitable users and those in need. It will assist the donors in aiding and providing for underprivileged kids. The needy can ask for donations and mention their requirements, and then they should be able to connect with the donors who can meet their requests.

  2. Collaborative-Web-2022 is a website which has all information related to mentors, contributors, points scored in opencode, and information about projects in opencode.

  3. Designs for a Website called CampusOlx which is a local online marketplace specifically designed for students at IIIT-A to buy and sell second-hand items, such as furniture, electronics, and other household goods. By providing a platform for students to sell items they no longer need or use, CampusOLX can help students save money on living expenses and make it easier for them to find affordable products.

  4. Design 3.0- It consisted of tasks related to various aspects of Graphic Designing like logo, typography, poster, and 3D designing .

  5. WorkWise is a productivity app that helps users stay focused, manage their work, and improve efficiency. Customizable widgets and kanban boards make it easy to stay on track and be more productive.

  6. The frontend repository for the Forum Web App designed for the students of IIITA to ask questions, doubts and share their experiences.

  7. Cyber War consisted of tasks related to Cyber Security.

  8. Go-Git 2.0 consisted of tasks related to Git and Github.

  9. Code-Digger consisted of tasks related to coding.

  10. Provided designs for a flutter based application HandsForHunger to connect NGO's to the potential donors.

  11. Provided designs for the project SaveMyForm - Backend Less form submission collection for your application.

Challenges I ran into

I did not knew how to fetch images in React, how to use ant design components, I learnt alot of new things while contributing for the repositories . I also learnt Tailwind Css and how to use its pre exisitng classes, I learnt prototyping in figma, animation, making vectors using Adobe Illustrator , especially the advanced features of illustrator. It was tedious to handle the merge conflicts while contributing and I learnt quite alot new things about git ignore and Cyber Security through the respective repositories.
