Most AI demos either feel generic, overly technical, or forgettable after one interaction. We wanted to build something instantly legible, funny, and highly shareable: a product where a user can upload a real photo of an everyday object and watch it become an absurdly polished creator-style personality. The challenge was making the writing feel clever and specific instead of random chatbot output, while still keeping the experience public-demo safe and polished enough to feel like a real consumer app.

Challenges I ran into

We built a multi-step generation pipeline that separates object understanding from profile writing so the output stays visually grounded and tonally sharp. We designed a strict JSON generation flow with schema validation, added persistent Objex profiles, local/community publishing, voice identities, in-character chat, two-Objex chemistry generation, and cinematic scene planning with render-ready video prompts. We also spent a lot of effort on the product voice and UI so the experience feels intentional, campy, and premium rather than like a rough AI prototype.
