It makes traditional login flows safer by eliminating passwords and reducing the risk of data breaches. Developers can integrate zkLogin to streamline user authentication while enhancing privacy, enabling a seamless login experience that protects users’ identity and credentials from being leaked or stolen.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was integrating zero-knowledge proof cryptography with existing authentication workflows while maintaining usability and performance. Implementing zkLogin required understanding complex cryptographic protocols and adapting them to work smoothly on both frontend and backend. I overcame these hurdles by iteratively testing with small proof circuits, leveraging existing zk libraries, and carefully managing async flows to ensure smooth user experience without sacrificing security.
