Challenges I ran into
At beginning, diamondlabs was just a webhook to execute some in feed commands. Reused the app for the invisible prompt project. Then, launched 6 nft collections more with some variations in the minting mechanisms that I call then onchain experiences, and finally did a rebrand to the a complete image generator that mints zora coins. All this migrations grow to much the bundle size, too many routes and pages, and gave me some code debt.. that I am still paying. Too many headaches with z indexes.. and some other styling problems derived from there. On top of that, not launching a new app may broke my timing for the hackathon. Anyway here for the fun,
Hosted apps are cool but they come with extra headaches like no privacy, no data urls, no downloads, and some others derived from the lack of control over the main app. So, I have to find my way to avoid and skip all of them or renounce to basic principles like privacy. It was hard and it is still being hard. I have hope some day we can recover enough decentralization and privacy. On top of that, having to adapt the website to every single different company with a wallet and client was a real challenge. People hate standards I guess. (sorry I love some of these apps but you asked) <3
It was my first time with masonry and caching and it took me some time too, until realized that would be better to hide 1 of the 3 masonry. all smooth from that to be honest, I am happy with the overall result.
I am sure this was not the most complex things that the app does but I am sure they took too much of my time while the complex stuff is just more fun for me and I can manage it faster most of the time. Please, give me your complex tasks and you may center my divs xd
