The problem NutriGuardians solves
Our mission is to inform consumers about the often-overlooked realities of product labeling. Suppose a product might be marketed as a "Source of Vitamin C," in large, bold fonts as a marketing tactic. However, it might also contain a high amount of added sugar, which is listed in smaller fonts on the back of the packaging. For example, Amul Dark Chocolate contains more added sugar than their Milk Chocolate.
We aim to educate the public about these discrepancies to help them make more informed and healthier choices.
To reach a wider audience, our application will support multiple languages, ensuring that more consumers can benefit from our service. Our ultimate goal is to empower consumers with knowledge about their food choices, helping them navigate the complexities of product labeling and make healthier decisions for themselves and their families.
