The problem nounspot solves
The Nouns community is everywhere. Events, murals, shops, but not in one place, you can actually see it all. Nounspot is a living map where people find who is nearby, where stuff is happening, and what nounish things exist in each city.
For example, you land in a new town → open the map → see builders, meetups, art. Event hosts, shop owners, builders, and artists get a place to be seen, and the community gets one place to look.
Challenges I ran into
Making one codebase feel native in four contexts: mobile web, desktop web, Farcaster mini app on mobile, and Farcaster mini app on desktop, and not forking screens. I solved it with a small capabilities layer that detects device and mini app, an intent router for deep links to Waze or Google Maps with fallbacks, and share gating that uses composeCast in app and Web Share or copy link elsewhere.
