The problem Nirbhaya solves

We are going to address the issue of safety in our project named ‘Nirbhaya’ after the Nirbhaya Case which shook the entire nation .
Google map tries to find the fastest route between two paths even if it may mean compromising on security. Our app aims at detecting the safest route by finding danger index of all possible paths between two places which is a weighted sum of numeric values our unsupervised machine learning algorithm devised and assigned to 166 places in Delhi . We hope to extend that by including more detailed and transparent data which is not currently available.

Challenges I ran into

<>First challenge that I ran into was training the models.
<>Getting the crime.csv file was another cumbersome task.
<>We could only get data for 166 places in Delhi because of the data provided for training of models were inadequate.
<>I was not very familiar with adding apis with project it took a lot of googling for me to add my first api on a project.
