The problem Niramaya - Medical Tourism Aggregator solves
Currently, there's a lack of a centralized platform that simplifies the entire medical tourism experience for Indian patients. The process often involves:
Researching and comparing medical providers: Finding qualified hospitals and specialists can be time-consuming and difficult.
Navigating complex logistics: Arranging flights, visas, accommodation, and hospital appointments requires contacting multiple vendors and managing separate bookings.
Lack of post-treatment support: Limited guidance and support after returning to India can hinder recovery and create anxiety.
Challenges we ran into
- Backend - Our team lacks backend developers so building an API for us was a tough task.
- Clients - The concept is relatively new, so we had to build upon sample random data on our own
- Inexperience - Our team comprises of 2nd year B.Tech. Data Anlalytics enthusiasts so development was a new experience for us
- Hosting, There were some errors with Amplify while making the build version
5.Payments, RBI does not allow new users to onboard with stripe during this point of time so integrating a payment gateway was not possible.
