The problem NHDD solves

We have to pay for each and everything we buy in today’s world. Let’s consider a household situation: Every day we buy some fruits, vegetables (things of daily needs) etc or when our accessories get old/broken we buy a set of new one. All these expenses are important from household perspective as they are crucial and contribute towards building up monthly records of household expenditures.

Now think about the family member that manages it all. He\she manages day to day expense records and at the end of each month, tries to analyze it by making certain calculation on those expenses such as adding them all and then subtracting them from monthly income to get some round off figure to analyze this month’s profit or loss. Generally, all these tasks are very hectic and exhausting as one has to store and analyze all of these making it cumbersome and inefficient. Wrong calculations being the worse part.

Challenges I ran into

This are some of the challenges need to be dealt with :

  1. Suppose, there is an event at the user’s home in case of an event the expenditure goes
    higher, then of normal months so we provide the facility of occasional expenditures.

  2. As said the expense report will be generated at the end of the month: If the user enters
    the expense record at the last day on the month and on the next day which is the first
    day of the next month he remembers that the records he enter is incorrect then he can
    still manipulate them.

  3. Receipts get saved with a note proclaiming its purpose.

  4. As India is a diverse country various cultures have difference schedule of their festivals so
    we have chosen the number of months accordingly.

  5. Multiple expenses with same name and price are treated as different expenses.

  6. The credit score has been improved to add more practicality in the results.
