The problem NFTfy solves
Problem Statement
- Current data economy is centralized (big corporations control & monetize user data).
- Privacy risks, unfair revenue distribution, and lack of transparency in traditional data markets.
🔹 Your Solution: NFT-Based Data Licensing
- Users can mint their datasets as NFTs with custom licensing terms (personal use, commercial use, etc.).
- Buyers purchase the NFT and get access to the dataset, but usage rights are controlled by the NFT's metadata.
- Only the NFT owner can access the dataset stored on IPFS.
- If the NFT is sold or transferred, data access is automatically revoked from the previous owner.
Challenges we ran into
The challenging bit i felt was building the marketplace for the NFT where creator can list their NFT and buy the available NFTs on the market. But making a marketplace is a such big task so we decided to go with the other marketplace like the opensea, we tried to build it for 5 hrs but it was too much to handle for us and because of time limit we dicided to go with the opensea.
