NFTFi Cloud
Ignite your idle NFTs & FLOW with our one-stop NFT liquidity protocol. Pawn NFTs, gain instant loans, earn through lending. A new horizon for NFT monetization.
The problem NFTFi Cloud solves
Problem 1: NFT Liquidity Issues and Idle Capital
Traditionally, NFT holders face liquidity issues with their assets, while individuals with idle capital lack opportunities for substantial returns.
Solution: NFTFi Cloud
We introduce NFTFi Cloud, a transparent, secure, and user-friendly ecosystem that facilitates instant NFT-backed loans, effectively solving the dual challenges.
Problem 2: Trust Issues and Security Concerns
Participants in the NFT market often grapple with trust issues. Additionally, concerns about theft or loss from server shutdowns or project discontinuations persist.
Solution: Decentralized Flow Blockchain and Smart Contracts
We utilize the decentralized Flow blockchain and smart contracts, ensuring a secure lending process while eliminating the risk of theft or loss, as NFTs and FLOW are securely held in the blockchain.
Future Enhancements
In the future, NFTFi Cloud will introduce additional features to enhance user benefits, including:
- NFT Lending: Users can earn by lending their NFTs for a fixed period.
- Oracle Integration: Keeps NFT valuations updated in real-time.
- Automatic Liquidation: If NFT prices fall dramatically, users have an option to automatically liquidate their assets.
- Peer-to-pool Function: Allows multiple lenders to contribute to a single loan and vice versa.
Challenges we ran into
Capacity Management on Cadence
Learning how to manage Capacity on Cadence posed a significant challenge, requiring time and deep understanding for effective application.
Syncing NFT Listings via API
We struggled with synchronizing NFT listings through an API, which listens to contract events to reduce the load on the blockchain. It was vital to ensure that the API was always synchronized with the blockchain, but this was difficult due to potential transmission errors and server issues. We addressed this by periodically querying the list of listings on the blockchain, instead of relying entirely on events.
Learning to Use Emulator, Testnet, and FCL
Finally, learning how to use the emulator, testnet, and FCL was time-consuming. However, after some trial and error, these tools became more familiar and easier to use.
