The problem Newee solves

In these times where freedom of media is being suppressed a lot by some governments and journalists are punished, twitter accounts are banned for giving out views in public, we thought of building a solution for it.

Meet Newee. It provides freedom of media to all journalists out there.

A platform where users can read the latest news articles posted by other authors on the same platform. Journalists can anonymously log in with their wallets on the polygon mumbai network and post news articles.

Users can upvote any article based on their liking
Article with the most number of upvotes is presented as 'Article of the Day'.
Users can also send funds of 1 Matic to their favourite author as support.
News articles in the latest articles section are sorted on the basis of time.

Currently the platform is working on Ethereum ecosystem, but we are looking forward to migrate it soon.

Challenges we ran into

We had a experience on developing on Ethereum with Solidity, this was a difficult task to migrate the contract.We came up with the idea of representing news articles in a sideways scroll. It took much time to look for ways to implement this functionality. We found Swiperjs library and used this to show the latest news articles with a sideways scroll
