By offering these tools and resources, Neuronest empowers neurodivergent students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
In building NeuroNest, we encountered key challenges in design, content, and deployment.
First, designing a user interface that is engaging yet not overwhelming for neurodivergent children required thoughtful balance. We focused on creating a calming, intuitive UI that avoids overstimulation, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
Second, researching and selecting games that effectively support emotional awareness and cognitive growth was challenging. We sought expert-backed games to aid with emotional regulation and focus, ensuring they were both fun and educational.
Finally, deployment brought technical difficulties. Ensuring smooth performance across devices and troubleshooting backend issues demanded time and refinement.
These challenges reaffirmed our commitment to providing a supportive, accessible learning space for neurodivergent children and their families.
