The problem NeuroNest solves

Neuronest: A Brighter Future for Neurodivergent Learners

Neurodivergent students often face unique challenges in traditional education. They might struggle with sensory overload, difficulty focusing, or social interactions.

Neuronest aims to change that. It's a platform that provides:

Sensory-Friendly Design: A calming and organized interface to reduce distractions.
Engaging Games and Activities: Fun ways to practice skills like attention, memory, and problem-solving.
Supportive Community: A safe space for neurodivergent students to connect, share experiences, and receive peer support.
Expert Guidance: Access to resources and advice from professionals specializing in neurodiversity.
Parental Resources: Information and tools to help parents support their child's unique needs.

By offering these tools and resources, Neuronest empowers neurodivergent students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Challenges we ran into

In building NeuroNest, we encountered key challenges in design, content, and deployment.

First, designing a user interface that is engaging yet not overwhelming for neurodivergent children required thoughtful balance. We focused on creating a calming, intuitive UI that avoids overstimulation, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.

Second, researching and selecting games that effectively support emotional awareness and cognitive growth was challenging. We sought expert-backed games to aid with emotional regulation and focus, ensuring they were both fun and educational.

Finally, deployment brought technical difficulties. Ensuring smooth performance across devices and troubleshooting backend issues demanded time and refinement.

These challenges reaffirmed our commitment to providing a supportive, accessible learning space for neurodivergent children and their families.
