Recognizing the urgent need for solutions that prioritize the safety and well-being of women, we have developed Nari Suraksha, a comprehensive mobile application designed to empower women and provide them with the tools they need to navigate their daily lives safely and confidently.
At the heart of Nari Suraksha lies a simple yet powerful concept: leveraging technology to offer women a sense of security and peace of mind wherever they go. The app's primary function is to enable users to send distress signals to their designated emergency contacts swiftly and discreetly in case of any threat or danger. This is achieved through intuitive features such as shaking the device or pressing the power button multiple times, ensuring that help is just a few taps away, even in the most harrowing situations.

Challenges I ran into
During the development of Nari Suraksha, we encountered several challenges that tested our creativity, problem-solving skills, and dedication to the project's mission. Some of the key challenges we faced include:
Technical Complexity: Developing a robust and user-friendly mobile application with features such as location tracking, emergency alerts, and crowdsourced reporting required overcoming numerous technical hurdles. We had to navigate complex coding frameworks, integrate various APIs, and ensure seamless compatibility across different devices and operating systems.
User Experience Design: Designing an intuitive and accessible user interface was another significant challenge.
