NameThat
Where Names Launch Legends.
The problem NameThat solves
Every year, 300 million brands are born.
Most vanish. Not because they’re bad — but because their name doesn’t land.
Even Meta’s “Threads” got blocked in the UK.
Dunkin dropped “Donuts” and lost billions.
Naming is broken — expensive, slow, and messy.
Agencies charge $75K+. Reddit threads and spreadsheets don’t cut it.
Challenges we ran into
While building, we faced real challenges—especially working with Supabase, a tech we were new to. Getting image uploads, form logic, and auth to sync correctly slowed us down, but taught us how to move faster as a team. Despite that, we stayed focused and shipped a MiniApp that taps directly into the viral, creator-powered energy of Base.
