MYSURU TOURISM - PROZONE

LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL

The problem MYSURU TOURISM - PROZONE solves

Our motto is to provide a virtual exploring experience for the users, without travelling to their desired places. In this virtual exploring, the users get a wonderful opportunity of exploring their dream places anywhere with the help of internet. Which will reduce the cost for the transportation and other cost during the travelling, entirely. Our Website is one such platform, which provides Virtual Exploring for the users.
During this pandemic situation, people are unable to explore their desired places. Tourisms are very much affected because of COVID-19. To overcome that, we provided our solution for the promotion of Mysore Tourism with our full stack website.
We created this website for promoting Mysore which contains sections like COVID-19 along with our healthcare services, Popular tourist places in Mysore and their specialities and a dashboard in which COVID-19 cases are updated every day. The user can also see the current Positive cases in COVID-19.
Our website is created in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other frameworks like bootstrap and Hugo, etc.
We created this website in a Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence tract. The COVID-19 cases will be automatically updated over time with our database.
In our Website the users can login with their personal accounts like Facebook, Instagram or by google account directly or new users can create their new account in our website with either one those platforms. This login and sign in features will be added in our website, for protecting user’s personal information.

Challenges we ran into

While working on our websites, we faced some issues such as problem in connecting our database with our website using back-end programming, Extra blank pages at right side of every pages, overlapping contents on reducing browser’s width.
We used Google chrome’s ‘developer tools’ for finding out the block level element which occupied more width than others by hovering the mouse pointer across our webpage and that extra space has been rectified with the help of the ‘developer tool’.
We also came across on making our website responsive with the user’s device. We used media queries in css3 and we have altered the layout of every element in different device width ranges.
We stuck on connecting our COVID-19 dashboard with our database. We tried every possible solution to overcome that bug, with help of our college faculty.
