The problem MYSURU TOURISM APP solves

when a person goes on a tour to an unknown place, they face diffulculties like selecting a good restaurant or hotels to stay. Sometimes people get tricked and pay more for poor services. With the help of restaurants and hotels nearby feature, people can select best restaurant and hotels basede on ratings and reviews of other users. This will save them from spending mpre money than required.

Also with the help of suggestions section, user will be suggested places, hotes,etc. This suggestions will be updated everytime based on other users ratings of that particular place, hotels and restaurants.

Every popular place in Mysore has a content page in this app which will also have option of Google maps . So the app will take user's current location and generate a path from user to that popular place. So user can directly use that path .

There is a review section also in which people can put up their experiences about a place . So that their reviews can help a person visiting for first time to explore that place properly. Here also people miss out various things because they have no idea of the place but with the help of reviews in our app, they can explore the place to it's max.

Our app is an all in one destination for those who wish to visit Mysuru.

Challenges we ran into

We made an app for mysore tourism. Earlier we did make an app for our college but that was using Android studio and using XML language for UI. In this hackathon we tried using flutter for UI. Flutter uses dart programming language. since we were very new to dart we faced difficulties like where to put this widget or component,etc. But by coding in dart for 2 days continuous, we learnt many things about it. We were able to overcome exisiting errors.

We also faced a difficulty of connecting firebase database to flutter project for login feature. We tried till the end of hackathon but couldn't figure it out. We had less time also hence we started with other features and made complete UI of sign up and login page. We are still figuring that out and will try our best to solve it even if the hackathon is over.
