The problem Mysuru Tourism solves

In the post covid time, the tourism industry has faced a lot of severities, and the culturally rich places of India, are losing their glow. The Tourism industry has undergone very deep financial losses as well.

• To promote the tourism industry, we have created a platform, for Volunteers and Tourists to connect to each other, which apart from helping the tourists, in making their experience seamless, but also helps the volunteers to earn their daily livelihood.
• We have also added a Map to our application which helps the tourists to reach out to the various emergency services like Hospitals, Police Stations, etc.
• This platform will also support the listing of Hotels and Places to visit in Mysuru, to enhance the experience of a Tourist.
• Apart from that, he can also find the contact details of the Hotels and Volunteers listed in the App.
• We have also added the functionality to add Reviews, using which the user can add reviews to the Hotels, Touristic Spots, and to the Volunteers as well.

Challenges we ran into

This was our first hackathon, so we indeed had a lot of difficulties while building this application.

• Including the Map, was one of the first difficulties that we faced.
• Thinking of the workflow section was another one of our difficulties
• Also, we had some problems in deciding the layout of some of the screens.

But with the efforts of all the members of the team, we were able to overcome each and every one of them.
