Why are you participating for Based Africa?

Our team leader has a strong network of grassroots creators in Nigeria, many of whom are incredibly talented but lack access to the technology and international markets that could help them grow. They also face financial barriers, limiting their ability to use services that would elevate their work. Our project is inspired by these individuals—the creators and brands who deserve to have their voices heard on a global stage. Through MyriadFlow, we aim to empower these creators by providing them with the tools, platforms, and opportunities they need to succeed, without any upfront costs. We believe that Africa is full of untapped creative potential, and we are committed to helping bridge the gap between local talent and global markets.

What challenges are you focusing on?

We are addressing several critical challenges within the African creative community:

• Access to Technology: Many grassroots creators lack access to the tools and technology necessary to transition from Web2 to Web3, which limits their ability to participate in the digital economy.
• Financial Barriers: Upfront costs for launching projects, such as phygital NFTs and virtual experiences, are prohibitive for many emerging brands, preventing them from reaching their full potential.
• Limited Market Visibility: Many creators struggle to gain visibility and exposure beyond their local markets, which stifles their ability to grow and connect with global audiences.

How does your submission address this challenge?

MyriadFlow Elevate addresses these challenges by providing a platform specifically designed to empower grassroots creators, starting with Africa. We eliminate upfront costs and offer no-code tools that allow creators to launch their phygital NFTs and virtual experiences easily and without financial burden. By simplifying access to Web3 technology, we enable creators to participate in the digital economy and explore new revenue opportunities. Our platform enhances market visibility by connecting creators to global audiences, ensuring their work reaches beyond local markets.

Challenges we ran into

We faced issues with smart wallet functionality and solved this by swithing from Vercel to Railway.app. We also faced challenges integrating Basenames, and are currently working on a solution for direct integration to ensure smoother functionality.

Additional Features

During the Buildathon, we built the entire MyriadFlow Elevate Program, featuring the Elevate Africa Edition page—a marketplace for grassroots creators and brands. We revamped our studio to integrate this Program, updated user profiles to include Basenames, and enabled creators to start their journey directly from their profile. We also added the option to apply for the program and redesigned our studio landing page to highlight the two available tracks: the premium paid track and the Elevate track with no upfront costs.
