Why are you participating for Based LatAm?
DeFi products are often complex for non-crypto users. Our goal is to simplify DeFi with a 1-click protocol. Latin Americans face challenges with unstable currencies and high banking fees. While saving isn't a widespread habit, we can encourage it through simple, accessible investment options.
What challenges are you focusing on?
MiPlata simplifies DeFi access, eliminating the need for users to navigate complex LP setups or loan configurations, making investing and saving easier for everyone.
How does your submission address this challenge?
MiPlata is a Dapp offering easy access to DeFi for Latinos. It utilizes delta-neutral strategies, a sophisticated approach to earning fees while minimizing risks like impermanent loss, bringing these benefits to the general public.
Challenges I ran into
As a non-coder, I encountered challenges while deploying the Dapp. I adapted by learning to use AI tools like Cursor, which guided me in coding and deploying on Base Sepolia. Although setting up Chainlink automation is still a work in progress, the manual delta-neutral strategies are running smoothly. This hackathon has demonstrated that "MiPlata" can be a viable, user-friendly investment platform. I’m eager to build a team to expand and improve it further. I’m grateful to have the support of friends like @ccolorado, a highly regarded developer in the space, who, despite not being able to join as a teammate, assisted me with technical issues where AI tools alone weren’t enough.
