MultiRido

"Sharing the ride, sharing the planet"

The problem MultiRido solves

Our Ride sharing project addresses several problems related to transportation, including:
Traffic congestion: By promoting carpooling, your project helps to reduce the number of single-occupancy vehicles on the road, which can help to alleviate traffic congestion.
Environmental impact: By reducing the number of cars on the road, your project helps to reduce carbon emissions and other pollutants, which can help to mitigate the negative impacts of transportation on the environment.
Transportation costs: By allowing people to share the cost of transportation, your project helps to reduce the financial burden of commuting for individuals and families.
Social isolation: By fostering community connections through shared mobility options, your project helps to promote social interaction and reduce social isolation, particularly for people who may not have access to other transportation options.
Safety concerns: By incorporating user verification and questionable activity detection, your project helps to ensure the safety of all users and reduce the risk of unsafe or inappropriate behavior during ridesharing.

Challenges we ran into

When working on a project with a diverse team, it's common to encounter challenges related to differences in opinions and perspectives. Some challenges we have faced during the ideation of our carpooling project include:
Feature prioritization: With multiple team members contributing ideas for the app, it can be challenging to determine which features are most important and should be prioritized.
Design choices: Different team members may have different ideas about the overall design and user experience of the app, which can lead to disagreements about how the app should look and feel.
Target audience: Depending on the goals of your app, different team members may have different ideas about the target audience and how to tailor the app to meet their needs.
Technical feasibility: Some ideas may not be technically feasible or may require more resources than the team has available, which can create challenges in determining which ideas to pursue.
