The problem MudraMitra solves

According to the Humanitarian Welfare Council, over 60% of young people lack investing skills, and almost 80% of women lack financial literacy. To address these issues, we developed MudraMitra, an edtech solution.

With the help of the Ed-Tech platform MudraMitra, users can choose from each program and acquire the necessary skills.
Our goal with this app is to give users access to all the materials they need to learn about essential skills such as real-time stock research, trading, banking, and investing.

We have given users access to a quiz platform so they may test their knowledge and become more involved.

Users can also access real-time news and updates in a more simpler manner.

Overall this web app serves the needs of everyone who wishes to manage their finances on their own. This will make women more independent and less prone to scams regarding the same.

Our app empowers women to take control of their finances and make informed decisions is crucial for financial independence. It offers resources on budgeting, saving and debt management fostering financial confidence and empowerment.

Many women are entrepreneurs or small business owners, but they may encounter unique challenges in accessing funding, managing cash flow, and scaling their businesses.

Research shows that women are less likely than men to invest in the stock market, potentially missing out on wealth-building opportunities.our app offers investment education specifically tailored to women's needs, addressing common concerns, risk tolerance, and long-term investment strategies.

Women often earn less than men for similar work, leading to differences in lifetime earnings and retirement savings.our app can educate women about the gender pay gap, negotiation strategies for salary and benefits, and the importance of advocating for equal pay.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of our full-stack MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) project aimed at creating a financial literacy app, we encountered several challenges. One of the primary hurdles was designing and implementing a user-friendly and intuitive interface for the app, considering the complexity of financial concepts and data visualization requirements.
Additionally, integrating and synchronizing data between the MongoDB database and the frontend React components posed another challenge, especially when dealing with real-time updates and user interactions.
Ensuring the security of sensitive financial information and implementing robust authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect user data were also crucial challenges that required careful consideration and implementation.
Furthermore, optimizing the app's performance, especially when handling large datasets or complex calculations, required meticulous testing and fine-tuning of both frontend and backend components. Despite these challenges, our team's collaborative effort, problem-solving skills, and perseverance enabled us to overcome obstacles and deliver a high-quality financial literacy app that empowers users to manage their finances effectively.

In addition to the challenges encountered during the development of our full-stack MERN project for creating a financial literacy app, integrating Replit into our workflow presented its own set of hurdles. While Replit provided a convenient platform for collaborative coding and instant deployment, configuring the development environment to work seamlessly with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js required careful setup and configuration. Managing dependencies, environment variables, and ensuring compatibility across different environments posed challenges during development and testing phases.
