MPT THEORY
Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) to optimize decentralized finance (DeFi) portfolios, offering users data-driven strategies to balance risk and reward in the volatile cryptocurrency market.
The problem MPT THEORY solves
simplifies portfolio management in DeFi by helping investors find the best risk-return balance. It analyzes historical data to generate optimized portfolios with clear strategies—Minimized Risk, Maximized Returns, and Optimal Sharpe Ratio—offering transparency and on-chain accessibility.
User Interaction and Data Flow
Users can interact with by querying a smart contract deployed on multiple blockchains. The contract provides the latest optimized portfolio allocations based on historical data analyzed using MPT. Through a user-friendly interface, investors can access the optimal risk/reward strategy and track asset allocations over time.
The project architecture and development process
The project is divided into three parts:
Data Collection: Historical pricing data is pulled from decentralized ChainLink oracles.
Analysis & Optimization: MPT is applied to generate optimal portfolios considering risk and reward.
On-Chain Deployment: Optimized allocations are stored in a Solidity smart contract, accessible on multiple blockchains, ensuring transparency.
Product Integrations
ChainLink Oracle: Used to fetch real-time historical data for assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.
