The problem Moye-Certi solves

Our Insurance Certificate Management System revolutionizes the insurance industry by employing blockchain technology. This innovative solution addresses the complexities associated with insurance certificates, streamlining the creation, validation, and transfer processes. It ensures secure and transparent management of policies, reducing fraud risks and enhancing data accuracy. Stakeholders, including insurers, brokers, and clients, collaboratively participate in the certification lifecycle, improving efficiency and trust in insurance operations. By providing a tamper-resistant and easily accessible platform, our system transforms insurance certificate management, offering a reliable, decentralized solution to the challenges posed by traditional insurance processes.

This interface streamlines the process for policyholders, offering a convenient platform that guarantees the integrity of their insurance terms. This solution enhances transparency and trust between brokers and policyholders, eliminating the risk of unauthorized modifications to policy terms. Our system marks a significant leap in insurance technology, making policy management straightforward and secure for both brokers and policyholders alike.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of the project, a significant challenge arose when integrating the smart contract with the frontend. The seamless communication between the blockchain-based smart contract and the user interface was crucial for the project's success, and encountering hurdles in this integration posed a potential roadblock.

To overcome this challenge, I delved into comprehensive research, exploring various online resources and video tutorials. Understanding the intricacies of connecting the frontend to the Ethereum blockchain required a deep dive into the concepts of Web3.js and the Ethereum JavaScript API. The debugging process was meticulous, as I had to ensure that the data flow between the smart contract and the frontend was accurate and secure.
