The problem Movie Review Sentiment Analysis solves
The system provides an efficient way to predict the sentiment of movie reviews, helping users determine whether a review is positive or negative. This makes it easier for people to gauge public opinion about movies quickly, which is valuable for both moviegoers and industry professionals.
Challenges I ran into
During the project, one significant challenge was fine-tuning the machine learning model to achieve optimal accuracy. Initially, the model underperformed, and I had to incorporate techniques like Transfer Feature Engineering (TFE) and multiple rounds of Hyperparameter Optimization (HPO) to enhance its performance. Additionally, handling large datasets required efficient data preprocessing methods to ensure the system remained responsive.
