The problem Monkey Trivia Frame solves

Traditional social media engagement is often passive and lacks interactive and rewarding experiences. My dApp transforms follower engagement by introducing interactive AI-generated trivia, enhancing user interaction and retention. By utilizing base smart wallets with account abstraction, I have simplified reward distribution through smart contracts and NFTs, providing a seamless and automated way to incentivize and recognize participant achievements.

Challenges I ran into

Challenge: Making sure the AI-generated trivia questions were top-notch was tough. The best way to do this was using RAG (Retrival Augmented Generation) with metadata extraction (creation of tree nodes to store data), but it was too expensive.
Solution: I went with a simpler RAG approach using parameter tokens. It’s cheaper but, yeah, it messes up sometimes and the quality isn’t always the best.
Farcaster Signer Approval:

Challenge: Getting my Farcaster signer approved was a big pain.
Solution: I just kept pushing and making sure everything was in order until they finally approved it.
Chainlink Smart Contracts Integration:

Challenge: Using Chainlink’s Automation and VRF was tricky because they weren’t fully supported on Base Sepolia at first. Automation got support recently, but VRF is still missing on Sepolia and mainnet.
Solution: For now, I wrote a cron task on my server to handle the automation and VRF stuff until Chainlink is fully supported.
Solo Full-Stack Development:

Challenge: Building the whole thing by myself was no small feat.
Solution: I broke down the tasks, used a lot of online resources, and kept myself on a strict schedule to make sure I stayed on track.
