The problem Mom's Gourmet solves

Women’s employment and empowerment are two of the most hotly debated issues in India. Every Woman in the world today wants to be on par with men in terms of status. However, for a variety of reasons including limitations placed on them by their families and communities, and responsibilities of their family on their shoulders they are unwilling to leave their comfort zones and pursue independence.

Thousands of students travel daily in India from rural to metropolitian areas in pursuit of employment. Finding an appropriate meal service is their biggest challenge after locating a place to stay because its practically impossible to eat at restraunts everyday due to potential health risk.

Challenges we ran into

Unavailability of homely meal for students living in PGs and people migrating in search of jobs.
Community and family restriction on women to step out of their house and earn income through their skills.
Non working Women turning more as a liability rather than asset for their family.
